Turning A Blind Eye

Have you ever taken the time to ask yourself questions as to why things are the way they are, in your spiritual life, your personal life, your relationships, or in your job? Are you feeling overwhelmed, discontented, being overly critical of others, quickly judging and finding fault with everything? These are ACTIVE SYMPTOMS that something is going on IN YOU! When you find yourself blaming others for how you feel or giving the enemy credit, you turn a blind eye to the truth about YOU! Leaving a marriage, quitting a job, switching churches, taking a pill, going on a holiday, getting more sleep, or taking a sick day won’t eliminate these kind of symptoms.

Wherever you go you take YOU with you!

James 3:16 says, For where you have envy, and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil work.

You have the power to say yes or no to conflict and strife.

Let’s turn this around! Hebrew 12: 14-15 says, make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

Sometimes conflicts can be resolved and sometimes they can’t. All that is required for you to do is your part. Below is a simple strategy:

MAKE AN EXCHANGE - 1 Peter 5:7 “Cast the whole of your care unto Him, ALL your anxieties, ALL your worries, ALL your concerns, ALL your fears unto Him because He cares for you affectionately.”

TAKE PEACE in it’s place - John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Not as the world gives to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

Life and Death are in the power of the tongue, speak LIFE and make the exchange to forgive by faith and let go of the controls of your own life and let God have His way in you!

HE IS THE BEST DRIVER!
