Fear Blocks God's Vision

Fear can have a holding power over our mind and can block creativity, productivity, and relationships.

Isaiah 43:1 - Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God... You are precious and honored in my sight...Do not be afraid, for I am with you. The above scripture gives us comfort and peace as it reveals how much God loves us and promises to be with us through every situation. It explains why we have no reason to fear because God is with us. When you and I are tempted to sink under the fearful pressures of life, Jesus is the reason we can be fearless. Whether our fears disappear or whether we move toward our goal even though we are afraid, we will receive courage as we obey God. Always run towards fear, never run from it. Running towards the thing that we fear, helps us face our giant, and in reality we end up finding out that that so called giant was the size of a chihuahua with a loud bark. All of us are susceptible to being sidetracked by fear. The purpose of fear is to immobilize us so that we never fulfill God's design and purpose for our lives. God desires to calm our fears so that our relationship with Him will be more trusting and intimate. I know from experience that taking courage when we face fear is not easy, but the effort is always worth the freedom that results. Most of us are confronted with fear in some way or another. Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of ridicule and criticism, fear of heights, fear of crowds of people, or maybe fear of being closed in. Whatever we are being confronted with in the area of fear, the Word of God says, FEAR NOT, neither be afraid, for the Lord thy God is with you!!!!
